xPosition Available : AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect Location : Irvine, CA Salary : $120,000 - $150,000 Experience needed : We're looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a proven track record of designing enterprise-scale cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across AWS infrastructure, networking, Infrastructure as Code, high availability, and cloud architecture, with the ability to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders. About the Role This is an opportunity to take ownership of the cloud architecture for a large enterprise environment, helping shape the future of the organisation's AWS platform. You'll lead architectural decisions, define cloud standards, and work with infrastructure, networking, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities Design enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform and CloudFormation Define networking architectures including VPCs, routing, and hybrid connectivity Design highly available, resilient, and disaster recovery solutions Establish cloud governance, security, and architectural best practices Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentoring Drive cloud optimisation across performance, reliability, and cost What we need from you: Extensive commercial experience designing AWS cloud infrastructure Strong knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and security Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools Experience designing highly available, scalable, and disaster recovery solutions Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders Experience producing architecture documentation and cloud design standards Exposure to GenAI or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies would be beneficial If you'd like to learn more or register your interest, hit apply as we'd love to hear from you!
