Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of techjobsdata.com and the TechJobsData API, operated by TechJobsData Inc., Dobrotitsa 34 D, Dobrich 9300, Bulgaria ("TechJobsData", "we", "us"). By using the site or the API you agree to these terms.

1. The service

TechJobsData aggregates publicly available tech job listings, normalizes them, and provides access to the resulting dataset through a web job board (free) and a REST API (free and paid tiers). Job applications always take place on the original source platform; we are not a recruitment agency and are not a party to any employment relationship.

2. Accounts and API keys

• You must provide a valid email address to register. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential.
• API keys are personal to your account and may not be shared, resold or published.
• We may suspend accounts that attempt to bypass rate limits, share keys, or otherwise abuse the service.

3. Plans and rate limits

• Hobbyist (free): 20 API requests per day, non-commercial use.
• Indie Hacker (€10/month): 1,000 API requests per day, commercial use permitted.
• Business (€49/month): 10,000 API requests per day, commercial use permitted, priority support.

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid billing period.

4. Refund policy

First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment if the API does not meet their expectations — email [email protected]. After 7 days, and for renewal payments, refunds are generally not offered, except where a prolonged technical failure on our side prevented you from using the service. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• circumvent authentication, rate limits or other technical restrictions;
• use automated tools to scrape the website itself instead of using the API;
• misrepresent the data as your own original listings or remove attribution to source platforms where it is shown;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose, including discriminatory hiring practices.

6. Data accuracy

We aggregate data from public sources and enrich it automatically. While we work to keep the dataset fresh and accurate, we cannot guarantee that every listing is still open, that every parsed salary or seniority label is correct, or that the dataset is complete. The service is provided "as is" and you should verify critical details on the original posting before relying on them.

7. Intellectual property

The TechJobsData name, site design, documentation and normalization pipeline are our property. Job listing content belongs to the respective employers and source platforms. Paid API customers receive a non-exclusive licence to use the retrieved data in their own products, subject to these terms.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or decisions made in reliance on aggregated job data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service itself; material changes will be announced on the site or by email at least 14 days in advance. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Consumers retain the protections of the mandatory consumer law of their country of residence. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Bulgaria.
