Site Reliability Engineer | SRE | Kubernetes | Terraform | Python/Go Must have Startup Experience to be considered for this role Salary: $175,000 - $250,000 + competitive equity Contract: Permanent Start: ASAP (actively looking, available within ~2 weeks) Working Model: Onsite 3/4 days p/w in San Francisco -vNo relocation support - must be local or willing to relocate independently before offer. Eligibility: Existing US work authorization required - no visa sponsorship 🚨 Non-Negotiables - Please only apply if you have ALL of the following 🚨 Core technologies: Deep, hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and/or Pulumi Observability with Grafana and Prometheus Strong programming in Python or Go (live coding ability, not rusty) Cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure Startup/Scale up Experience Environment: 3+ years of explicit, hands-on SRE experience (not DevOps-only or architecture-only) Proven experience scaling infrastructure, not just maintaining it Strong startup or fast-scaling environment experience (early-stage, high-ownership) A true individual contributor - hands-on in the code, not a manager-only profile Comfortable owning reliability end-to-end with ambiguity and rapid iteration Key skills: Leading incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems Automating deployments, scaling, provisioning, and recovery Building and owning production infrastructure for high availability and security Strong cross-functional collaboration to ship reliable releases High-level written and spoken English Role Overview We're partnered exclusively with a fast-moving, early-stage AI infrastructure startup building the foundational systems that power the next wave of AI agents - the kind of runtime and orchestration layer that lets autonomous agents actually run reliably at scale. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain production infrastructure across cloud platforms Monitor system alerts and incidents, ensuring high availability and security Automate deployments, scaling, provisioning, and recovery Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems for continuous improvement Collaborate cross-functionally to ship reliable releases and an outstanding developer experience Nice to Have Background at tech-first companies operating at real scale (data, security, or developer platforms) Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or ephemeral/agentic workloads PagerDuty or similar on-call and incident tooling CS or Engineering degree (practical experience valued over credentials) If you tick every box above, you're hands-on in Python or Go, and you can be onsite in SF - we want to hear from you.
