Azure DevOps Engineer

Azure DevOps Engineer | Glasgow (5/4 days on site) | 6 Months (Initially) | £600 (Inside IR35) | (Azure/Python/Infrastructure-as-code) We're looking for an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer to lead the development and delivery of Platform Health capabilities across an enterprise Azure environment. This is a high-profile role where you'll work closely with engineering teams and leadership to define reliability strategy, enhance observability and drive Azure platform readiness. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, building automation with Python, and developing monitoring and alerting solutions. You'll also integrate Azure platform services, champion cloud security best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve platform reliability across the organisation. Key responsibilities: Own the Azure Platform Health roadmap. Develop Infrastructure as Code using and automation tools. Integrate Azure services using REST APIs. Drive cloud security best practices, including RBAC, encryption and CMK. Key skills: Proven Azure Site Reliability Engineer or Platform Engineer experience. Hands-on Azure and Infrastructure as Code experience. Experience with automation and monitoring tools. Background working in large enterprise environments.
