Fort Meade, MD | Onsite (5 Days/Week) | 12-Month Contract | Lucrative Hourly Rate | Active Secret Clearance Required We're partnering with a leading federal technology organization to hire an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer for a high-profile, mission-critical cloud program based at Fort Meade, MD. This role is focused on designing, automating, and optimizing secure AWS cloud infrastructure within a highly regulated environment. You'll work alongside a technically strong engineering team using modern DevOps tools and cloud-native technologies to deliver resilient, scalable solutions supporting critical government operations. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure. Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker. Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions. Required Experience Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation. DevOps expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Strong Linux systems administration and infrastructure automation experience. Experience working in secure or regulated environments. Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or higher) is required.
