Job Description This is a full-time remote position (in Europe) with XLINQ’s SRE and Security team. You will contribute to building and securing highly available, scalable systems and play a key role in ensuring operational excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams, participate in architecture discussions, and take ownership of production environments. We operate in a flat structure and highly value autonomy and initiative. Expect to be involved in everything from coding and automation to performance tuning, researching new technologies, incident response, and infrastructure-as-code. Key Responsibilities Implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Manage and monitor Kubernetes-based containerized environments in production Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for scalable and repeatable provisioning Lead incident management and support root cause analysis. Implement and improve cloud security policies and hardening in Microsoft Azure Support identity and access management (IAM) and networking for cloud systems Work with distributed, mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and resilience Champion deployment best practices, including blue/green and canary strategies Automate routine operations with a focus on self-service, observability, and efficiency Engage in IT compliance, change management, and support regulated environment standards Maintain AI infrastructure for DSLs Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of engineering experience Security and Reliability are key ingredients in your way of working. Ability to explain complex systems and abstractly Self-driven, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environments Strong communication skills, team collaboration, and problem-solving mindset Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native applications Proven experience with Azure infrastructure, security, and networking Deep knowledge of cybersecurity best practices along the SDLC Hands-on experience with CI/CD, especially using Azure DevOps Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) Knowledge of IT processes: incident management, compliance, and performance optimization Track record with high-availability (HA), distributed systems in production Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and 24/7 availability as needed Demonstrated interest in AI and automation What We Offer A hybrid work environment Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and architecture A flat team structure with high autonomy and ownership A collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work culture Projects that make a tangible impact in critical industries
