About The Role GrabJobs is seeking a talented full-stack TypeScript software engineer to join our expanding team of product, technology, and software development professionals. This role is pivotal in developing innovative financial technology solutions, specifically focusing on creating a new loan origination system for a financial services enterprise. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced team leads and cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to new technologies and refining core skills in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of hands-on software development experience, demonstrating proficiency in a range of technical skills. Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js is essential, along with a solid understanding of GraphQL, preferably Apollo or Federated GraphQL. Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS is required, with working knowledge of SQL and React also necessary. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Github Actions, along with full-stack development experience from front-end to persistence layers, is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable working in Linux environments and possess excellent communication skills. A passion for learning new technologies, attention to detail, high integrity, and a proactive problem-solving attitude are critical attributes for success in this role. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive loan origination system utilizing Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, React, Camunda, and various AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, and Aurora. Engage in hands-on development of both back-end and front-end components, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Collaborate with technical leads and product teams to gather and define functional and technical requirements for the system. Create and maintain clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts. Participate actively in Agile teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement within the development lifecycle. Proactively share knowledge and collaborate with team members to foster a culture of learning and innovation. Represent GrabJobs with professionalism, integrity, and technical expertise, ensuring client confidentiality and trust are maintained at all times.
