DevOps Expert Location: Krakow, Poland Primary Skills Microsoft Azure DevOps Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DevOps Expert to drive the implementation and adoption of DevOps best practices within the STP Tribe . The role focuses on improving developer experience, automation, cloud adoption, and operational excellence while supporting the tribe's transition to a cloud-native infrastructure. The STP Tribe is responsible for managing the communication layer for messaging and file transfers, ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available services across the Euroclear Group. A major migration to cloud infrastructure is planned, making this a key strategic role. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Participate in and occasionally lead strategic discussions across IT and DevOps teams. Align DevOps initiatives with business and technology objectives. Promote modern DevOps practices across the organization. Influence technology direction and engineering standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with architects, developers, operations teams, and business stakeholders. Represent DevOps in cross-functional forums. Drive collaboration between development and operations teams. Team Leadership & Mentorship Lead, coach, and mentor DevOps engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Support Agile teams in adopting DevOps methodologies. Build technical capability across engineering teams. DevOps Best Practices Define, document, and enforce DevOps standards and best practices. Establish guidelines for: CI/CD Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Automation Monitoring Security Continuously improve engineering standards. Automation & Continuous Improvement Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines. Build and improve automation frameworks. Identify opportunities to improve delivery speed, reliability, and scalability. Reduce manual processes through automation. Infrastructure & Operations Design and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Ensure secure, scalable, and highly available environments. Oversee: Infrastructure monitoring Incident management Root cause analysis Operational excellence Stakeholder Management Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Communicate DevOps priorities across teams. Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing. Identify and communicate risks proactively. Performance & Reporting Define and monitor DevOps KPIs. Measure platform performance and engineering efficiency. Report progress, challenges, and improvement initiatives to leadership. Security & Compliance Integrate security into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps). Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards. Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks. Knowledge Sharing Promote DevOps culture across the organization. Share best practices and technical knowledge. Support adoption of new tools and technologies. Build a strong DevOps engineering community.
