Position: DevOps Engineer (Middle/Senior) We are looking for a  hands-on DevOps Engineer  who takes strong ownership of system architecture, infrastructure quality, and operational excellence. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to build a reliable, secure, and scalable platform. This role requires a balance of  deep technical execution , proactive ownership, and the ability to  enable teams  through standards, tooling, and clear communication. What You’ll Do Platform & Infrastructure (AWS) Design, standardize, and evolve  AWS architectures  (supporting mainly Ruby on Rails and Laravel applications) Build and maintain  reusable, Terraform-based infrastructure modules  for new and existing products Own infrastructure  stability, scalability, reliability, and availability  across all environments Lead infrastructure incident response, including  root-cause analysis  and preventive improvements Clearly communicate infrastructure risks, incidents, and remediation plans to product and engineering teams Security & Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate  AWS security risks  (internal and external) Design and operate secure  IAM policies, access control, logging, and audit mechanisms Proactively improve security standards and best practices across products CI/CD & Developer Experience Design, implement, and optimize  CI/CD pipelines  with a strong focus on automation and reliability Standardize deployment workflows across teams and environments Improve developer productivity through  automation, platform tooling, and documentation Monitoring, Cost Optimization & Databases Design effective  monitoring and alerting strategies  with a strong signal-to-noise balance Optimize CloudWatch metrics, logs, and alarms Lead  AWS cost analysis and continuous cost-optimization initiatives Define database  operations, performance, and security  policies Establish database  query history and audit tracking  standards Cross-Team Enablement & Platform Foundation Act as the  initial owner of the Platform / DevOps function Define and document  product-wide standards , including: Infrastructure & Infrastructure as Code CI/CD pipelines Git workflows and management Monitoring, alerting, and on-call practices Application error handling and Slack notification channels Proactively identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion Help shape the  future Platform / DevOps team and engineering culture What we need: Must-Have Strong hands-on experience with AWS  (architecture, operations, optimization) Deep knowledge of  CI/CD and automated deployment Strong experience with  Infrastructure as Code Terraform (required) CloudFormation (experience or solid understanding) Solid database knowledge (performance, operations, security) 3+ years of backend development experience Experience operating production systems Linux and networking fundamentals Strong ownership, motivation, and self-driven mindset Ability to work independently and proactively in a team-building environment Clear communication skills with both engineers and non-engineers Working proficiency in  English Nice-to-Have AWS  or  security-related certifications Container  platforms (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) High-traffic or distributed systems experience Experience building internal platforms or shared infrastructure Experience in multicultural teams (e.g.  Japan/  Vietnam) What we offer: Benefit: At least 15 AL days /year (including 3 days for summer)  +1 day AL  for every work anniversary  (maximum 5 days) Full salary insurance  coverage with  Private health insurance package  Allowed  flexible working hours  with  Flexible day-off request Salary review  TWICE  a year Equipment provided includes Macbook and widescreen monitor 13-month bonus + Tet bonus Annual heath check  at D.Y.M Center Transportation fee  per month Culture: Welcome gift  with giftee T-shirt & stickers Ergonomic chairs  applied to all employees Flexible working areas  between office area & playing area Access to  PS games/ board game  during leisure time, free snack / tea/ coffee Oversea  company trip /  Monthly  Company e-Gift /  Birthday  Gifts Monthly  lunch / dinner / team gathering Development & Career Growth: Dev Training Benefit:  AWS Sandbox environment for individual Company-sponsored  professional training courses Opportunity to greatly improve English skills from joining weekly  English classes  &  Japanese classes Dev-sponsored AI systems while working Ready to join us?
