We are looking for a Lead Enginner & SRE Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects for one of our clients in the banking sector . ⚙ Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Set the technical vision for the SRE team, ensuring alignment with overall business and technical strategies. Infrastructure Strategy: Define and implement strategies for infrastructure optimization, cost management, and scalability. High-Level Incident Management: Provide technical oversight for incidents and follow up actions, including coordinating response efforts whilst ensuring effective communication with stakeholders via appropriate channels (SNOW, JIRA) etc. Platform management: Identify and implement opportunities to improve the platform resilience, reliability and cost profile. Process Automation: Identify and lead initiatives to automate operational processes and improve overall efficiency within the cloud environment. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Security, and Support teams to ensure the Secure Landing Zone meets all requirements and standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operations, reliability engineering, and team practices. 💡 Mandatory requirements: AWS-focused role: Extensive experience working with AWS environments. Strong knowledge of AWS Landing Zones (LZ), Direct Connect, AWS Organizations, SCPs (Service Control Policies), and related AWS governance and networking services. Extensive experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines . Experience managing high-severity incidents using tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW) and Jira . Proven experience providing technical leadership within SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) teams .
