Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Kraków, Poland (Hybrid 3 days/week onsite) Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, automation, containerization, and monitoring tools to support high-availability applications. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Implement security best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and access control. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues. Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline software delivery. Optimize infrastructure costs and improve system reliability and scalability. Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer. Strong experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools. Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Experience with Linux system administration. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and SSL/TLS. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Understanding of security and compliance best practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Fluent in English. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Helm and service mesh technologies. Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux. Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
