Spectrum Search is partnered with a digital asset infrastructure company operating across blockchain infrastructure, cybersecurity and distributed systems. The company is looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to build, scale and maintain secure platform infrastructure for complex, high-throughput environments. About the opportunity This is a technical infrastructure role for an engineer who enjoys automation, reliability, security and production operations. The organisation is building resilient distributed network infrastructure and requires someone able to translate complex engineering requirements into stable, observable and scalable operational environments. The role You will sit between engineering, platform operations and security, supporting the infrastructure that powers core network services, node operations and developer workflows. The role is suited to someone with strong Linux, cloud, networking, infrastructure as code, containerisation and continuous integration and continuous deployment experience. Key responsibilities Design, provision and manage scalable cloud, hybrid cloud and bare-metal infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation. Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins. Deploy, monitor and maintain blockchain infrastructure, including validator nodes, RPC nodes and testnet or mainnet environments. Implement monitoring, logging and alerting across production systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack. Embed DevSecOps practices across infrastructure, pipelines and deployment processes. Automate operational tasks through scripting and internal tooling to improve reliability and developer velocity. Participate in incident response, support on-call activity and contribute to post-incident reviews. Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks and architecture diagrams for engineering and operations teams. Essential requirements Strong DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering background in production environments. Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Practical experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting or programming ability in Python, Bash or Go. Cloud infrastructure experience, particularly AWS, with GCP or Azure also relevant. Strong understanding of systems design, reliability, observability and operational security. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts. Strong planning, prioritisation and troubleshooting skills. Must be based in the United States. Nice-to-haves Experience with Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure, validators, RPCs, wallets, DePIN or DeFi. Familiarity with applied cryptography, post-quantum cryptography or distributed security concepts. Experience supporting enterprise clients, strategic partners or developer ecosystems. Background in fintech, cybersecurity, SaaS, Web3 or venture-backed technology environments. Experience with bare-metal provisioning and hybrid-cloud environments. Exposure to FinOps or AIOps practices. Location and remote setup This is a full-time role based in the United States.
