Job Summary Shriram General Insurance is looking for a highly motivated DevOps Developer to build, automate, and optimize the software delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of production environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, testing, and deployments. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and deployment environments. Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Monitor application performance, system health, and infrastructure availability. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release processes. Implement security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans. Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues. Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational processes. Continuously improve deployment automation, scalability, and system reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills. Experience with Git and version control workflows. Understanding of networking, system security, and monitoring concepts. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Knowledge of microservices architecture and API deployments. Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security automation. Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
