DevOps Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and improve system reliability. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability. Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application performance. Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues. Ensure infrastructure security by implementing best practices and compliance standards. Maintain configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong knowledge of Git version control. Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts. Preferred Skills Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
