The role will be based onsite in Sydney and will focus on cloud environment setup, CI/CD enablement, automation, deployment governance, infrastructure support, release readiness, monitoring, and operational handover. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in AWS cloud services, DevOps practices, automation, security-focused delivery, and production release support for enterprise-grade platforms. Key Responsibilities Set up and maintain DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments for cloud-based contact center implementation. Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines for AWS-based application, configuration, Lambda, integration, and infrastructure components. Support Amazon Connect implementation teams with deployment automation, configuration packaging, release controls, and environment readiness. Work with AWS Connect, IVA, V2V, integration, QA, and security teams to enable controlled deployments across environments. Manage code repository structure, branching strategy, pull request process, version control, and deployment approvals. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent. Configure monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerts, and operational observability using AWS CloudWatch and related tooling. Support integration deployment activities involving AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, IAM, Secrets Manager, S3, KMS, and related AWS services. Support release planning, smoke testing, rollback planning, deployment runbooks, and production cutover activities. Collaborate with security teams to ensure IAM, encryption, audit logging, access control, and compliance controls are implemented properly. Participate in SIT, UAT, performance validation, go-live readiness, hypercare, and operational handover activities. Troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, access, environment, networking, integration, and production issues. Expertise You'll Bring: Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and enterprise DevOps delivery. CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, or equivalent. Strong Git branching, version control, release tagging, and code promotion experience. Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or equivalent. AWS services: IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, CloudWatch, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB, VPC, Route 53, and related services. Experience supporting Amazon Connect or cloud contact center implementation is highly preferred. Experience in scripting/automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Node.js. Strong understanding of deployment environments, release management, rollback strategy, and production readiness. Experience with monitoring, alerting, log aggregation, operational dashboards, and incident troubleshooting. Understanding of security, access management, audit logging, encryption, and enterprise compliance practices. Project-Specific Experience Preferred Experience supporting AWS Connect implementation, IVR/contact flow deployment, and contact center migration programs. Experience enabling deployments for voice bot / IVA solutions using Amazon Lex, Lambda, and related AWS services. Exposure to real-time V2V translation solutions using Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Translate, Amazon Polly, and Amazon Connect integrations. Experience supporting ServiceNow, Ping/Saviynt, Nexthink, or similar enterprise integration deployments. Experience in regulated enterprise environments such as healthcare, pharma, banking, or large managed services programs. Experience with production go-live, hypercare, and managed services transition for business-critical systems. Required Qualifications 8-12 years of overall IT experience with strong DevOps and cloud engineering background. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise delivery environments. Strong experience working in AWS cloud environments. Experience working onsite with customer stakeholders and distributed offshore teams. Strong communication, ownership, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
