DevOps Specialist

Your new role As a DevOps Specialist in the Developer Enablement team at Dalux , you will play a key role in improving the developer experience and increasing productivity as we continue to scale. Your focus will be on building, evolving, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure , while promoting DevOps best practices and strong software engineering principles across the organization. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that our platforms and tooling effectively support a wide range of technologies and product areas. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will: Continuously improve development at Dalux by proposing and implementing new ideas and evolving our systems to better support developers Clarify requirements and define technical and architectural solutions in collaboration with team members Coach and train internal users (our developers) in using the platforms and tools we provide Release, operate, and maintain internal components and products Explore, experiment, and research new technologies to identify opportunities for technical improvement Our DevOps platform and tech stack We aim to build reliable, repeatable, and highly automated pipelines , configured and maintained as code. Our shared and customizable build systems support a broad range of teams — from mobile and web applications to image processing and backend services. Our primary technologies include: Jenkins (Jenkins Pipelines, JCasC) GitLab and Nexus (self-hosted) Docker Hyper-V Prometheus, Thanos and Grafana MSBuild NPM (pnpm and Vite) AWS (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation, S3 etc.) Builds and tests are orchestrated using Jenkins, with code hosted in GitLab. Our platforms run on both Linux and Windows . Alongside the Developer Enablement team, we have a large DevOps Guild that supports the rollout of best practices and knowledge sharing across Dalux. Your background We expect that you have an educational background in Software Engineering . In addition, you have either been part of driving DevOps transformations previously and see DevOps as your strongest asset.
