Cloud Architect

Position: Solutions Architect Type: Contract Compensation: $40 - $100/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Architect and implement scalable microservices-based solutions on AWS to enhance system performance and reliability. Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to translate business requirements into comprehensive technical blueprints. Design and maintain infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools to ensure efficient deployment and management. Ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements, including reliability, security, and performance standards. Mentor stakeholders on cloud architecture best practices and emerging trends to foster knowledge sharing and skill development. Document architecture decisions and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Have strong relevant experience architecting and deploying microservices-based applications. Possess deep hands-on experience with AWS core services and infrastructure as code. Demonstrate mastery of Docker and cloud-native container orchestration with Kubernetes. Have strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to address complex challenges. Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively. Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
