Cloud Engineer (Azure) Location: Remote (LATAM preferred) Working Hours: EST Time Zone Experience: 5–10 years About the Role We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join a global Cloud Engineering team supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and automating modern Azure infrastructure while following Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices. We are looking for a strong mid-level to senior engineer with recent, hands-on experience in Azure. We value candidates who actively work with the latest Azure technologies and AI-enabled engineering practices over those whose Azure experience is primarily based on older implementations. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and PaaS services. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using **Bicep**. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Configure and support Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Routing, and secure connectivity. Deploy and manage web applications, APIs, Azure Functions, and cloud services across multiple environments. Support Azure governance, RBAC, policy management, and operational standards. Work with Azure Databricks and cloud data platform integrations. Leverage AI tools and automation to improve engineering productivity, deployment quality, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with infrastructure, development, security, and data teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions. Requirements Must Have 5–10 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or DevOps. Strong, recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (particularly within the last 1–3 years). Excellent knowledge of Azure infrastructure, networking, and cloud deployments. Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Bicep. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation. Experience with scripting and automation. Hands-on experience with Azure governance, RBAC, and cloud security best practices. Experience working with Azure Databricks or enterprise cloud data platforms. Comfortable using AI tools to improve engineering workflows and productivity. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience with Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps. Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect). Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare.
