Java Tech Leader

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Java Backend team, driving technical excellence and delivery quality. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Core Java and Spring Boot. Review system architecture, code quality, and technical solutions to ensure scalability and maintainability. Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features. Manage sprint planning, task prioritization, and technical execution. Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis. Promote engineering best practices, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Must Have 8+ years of Java backend development experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Lead/Team Lead role. Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate. Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL). Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit/Mockito, and Agile/Scrum. Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent problem-solving skills with experience handling high-load production systems. Fluent English. Nice to Have Experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and backend security. Experience in Gaming/ iGaming, fintech, or other high-traffic platforms is a strong advantage.
