This role owns the administration, governance, and continuous improvement of Fluidra's enterprise Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence), driving standardization, best practices, and platform reliability across a global user base. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on Atlassian platform expertise with strong DevOps/SRE sensibilities - automation, observability, and a product mindset toward internal tooling. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain the enterprise Atlassian suite (Jira Software, Jira Service Management/JSM, Confluence, and associated apps) for a global user base spanning multiple business units. Define, document, and enforce Atlassian best practices and standardization across projects, workflows, schemas, permission schemes, screens, and issue types to reduce sprawl and technical debt. Design and manage a sandbox / staging environment strategy for safely testing upgrades, app installations, workflow changes, and automation rules before production rollout. Own platform governance: project and space provisioning, user/group/permission management, license management, and access reviews aligned to security and compliance requirements. Plan and execute Atlassian Cloud/Data Center upgrades, migrations, and app (Marketplace) evaluations, installations, and lifecycle management. Build and maintain Jira automation rules, workflow schemes, dashboards, and JQL-based reporting to support Agile, ITSM, and portfolio-level reporting needs. Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira/Confluence configurations. Integrate Atlassian tools with the broader DevOps toolchain (CI/CD, Git platforms, monitoring/observability tools, Slack/Teams, ServiceNow, SSO/SAML, etc.). Establish backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures for the Atlassian platform. Monitor platform health and performance; proactively identify and resolve incidents, and manage vendor/Atlassian support cases. Drive change management, training, and documentation to promote adoption of standardized processes across globally distributed teams. Stay current on Atlassian roadmap, industry trends, and emerging best practices, and bring forward recommendations for continuous platform improvement. Required Qualifications & Experience 5 to 8 years of overall IT experience, with a significant focus on Atlassian platform administration (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence). Proven experience administering Atlassian tools at enterprise scale, including multi-project/multi-space environments with complex workflows and permission structures. Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Atlassian best practices, standardization frameworks, and governance models. Hands-on experience designing and operating sandbox/staging environments for safe change testing and release management. Experience with Jira Automation, ScriptRunner, or similar tools for workflow and process automation. Working knowledge of Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center administration, including upgrades, migrations, and app management. Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITSM/ITIL practices as implemented within Jira Software and Jira Service Management. Experience integrating Atlassian products with CI/CD pipelines, version control (GitHub), SSO/identity providers, and other enterprise systems. Solid understanding of REST APIs, scripting (Groovy, Python, or similar), and basic database/reporting concepts. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across time zones with global, cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Preferred Qualifications Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certification(s) - e.g., Jira Administrator, Jira Service Management, or Confluence Administrator. Experience with Atlassian Cloud-to-Cloud or Server/Data Center-to-Cloud migrations. Exposure to Atlassian Analytics, Compass, or other Atlassian ecosystem products. Experience working within a global DevOps/SRE organization supporting enterprise engineering teams. Knowledge of ITIL v4 framework and formal change/incident/problem management processes. Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multinational enterprise environment. What Fluidra Offers The opportunity to shape enterprise DevOps tooling standards for a global, publicly listed industry leader. A collaborative, international work environment with exposure to global IoT and engineering teams. Competitive compensation and benefits in line with industry standards for Pune, India.
