Automation Lead

Location: Onsite Charlotte, NC Role Summary STAFFXPERT is an looking for an experienced Automation Lead with 8+ years of Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise automation initiatives, design scalable automation frameworks, drive DevOps adoption, mentor teams, and deliver innovative automation solutions across web, API, database, middleware, and mobile platforms. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance enterprise test automation frameworks. Lead UI, API, mobile, and database automation initiatives. Build scalable CI/CD automation solutions using Jenkins, Cucumber, and GitHub. Develop custom automation solutions, dashboards, engineering metrics, and RCA reports. Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, including GenAI solutions. Mentor distributed teams and provide technical leadership on automation best practices. Collaborate with clients to define automation strategies and solution proposals. Key Skills Java, JavaScript, Python Selenium, Playwright REST Assured/API Automation Cucumber, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven Angular, Spring Boot, MuleSoft GenAI (GitHub Copilot/LLMs) Rally/Test Management Tools DevOps & CI/CD Experience Required 8+ years in Quality Engineering and Test Automation. 5+ years of hands-on Java development and framework design. Strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, CI/CD, and automation architecture. Experience leading multi-location automation teams in enterprise environments.
