Data & AI Platform Engineer Compensation: ¥10M – ¥18M Languages: Japanese and English Location: Tokyo, Japan (Remote-friendly) Director positions are also available We are scaling our Data & AI capabilities and are looking for an engineer who wants to build at the cutting edge of LLMs, AI agents, and data platforms. With millions of digital assets and a rapidly growing global footprint, the team is investing heavily in AI-driven infrastructure, AIGC, and next-generation content ecosystems. What You’ll Work On Build secure, scalable AI and data platforms from the ground up Design and optimize ETL pipelines and data foundations Develop LLM-powered systems (RAG, orchestration, MCP) Create AI agent workflows for real business use cases Build evaluation frameworks for LLM performance Integrate internal tools with AI-driven automation What You Bring Experience with data pipelines (Python, Go, Java, etc.) Strong knowledge of data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks) Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) Experience building RAG systems (LangChain, LlamaIndex) Solid backend engineering skills (APIs, microservices) Nice to Have Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) Experience with LLM evaluation tools (Ragas, LangSmith) Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform) Who You Are Product-minded and customer-focused Take ownership and drive impact Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments Curious, hands-on, and detail-oriented Why Join Work on real-world AI systems at scale Contribute to the future of AI and content ecosystems Join a high-growth, globally expanding team
