Senior DevOps Engineer

The Role You are taking over an important  Senior Devops Engineer role within a leading solutions provider for Treasuries and Capital Markets divisions of banks and corporates. You will be working in a dedicated and flexible team working closely with Software Engineers, Product Delivery experts and ICT team to help them deploy and operate different systems. Your main goal will be automate and streamline company’s operations and processes. Day to day work involves: •    Developing new features, and writing scripts for our CI/CD toolchain using Groovy/Java/Bash •    Managing infrastructure as code •    Taking ownership of system reliability, deployment flow, and automation strategy •    Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and resolving build or deployment failures •    Evaluating and integrating new DevOps tools to support scaling needs Profile Requirements Essential qualifications and skills include: •    5+ years of experience in Devops, Site Reliability Engineering or cloud infrastructure roles  •    Experience as a System Administrator (Windows and/or Linux), including troubleshooting, patching, service management, and basic networking •    Strong proficiency in CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) •    Script ability in Groovy, Bash or other relevant languages for automation •    Extensive knowledge of GIT, Gradle, Java 21+, Node.js and npm •    Proficiency with cloud platform like AWS, Azure or GCP and containerization •    Knowledge in administration of artifact repository manager like Artifactory or Nexus •    Experience with system monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or ELK Stack •    High flexibility, communication skills and ability to work in a fast-growing multi-cultural environment •    Fluent in Italian and English Nice to have skills include: •    Infrastructure as Code tooling (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) •    DevSecOps practices: secrets management, dependency/container scanning, SBOM, signing, least-privilege IAM •    Experience with incident management practices (on-call, post-mortems, SLO/SLI concepts) Industry •    Information Technology and Services  •    Financial Services  •    Capital Markets Employment Type Full time Disclaimer / Policy Statements THEMA Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer: we respect and seek to empower each individual and support the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills and experiences within our workforce.
