Product Engineer

Hausing is a dedicated property management software platform that helps commercial property managers and owners save time through automation and gain a real-time overview with centralized portfolio data. The solution replaces manual and unreliable spreadsheets, allowing users to track lease changes, special agreements, work orders, utilities, and analytics in one place. Core features include task management, lease management, automated preventive maintenance calendars, and automated utility cost sharing with quick invoice generation. Hausing also provides robust analytics, such as rent-rolls, task reports, vacancy reports, and tenant changes, in both spreadsheet and visual formats. The team focuses on building practical, data-driven tools that make property operations more efficient and transparent. What you'll do: Design and develop reliable, user-friendly solutions that make a real difference for our customers Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business needs align with technical capabilities Take part in cross-functional initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve long-term scalability Proactively identify and solve complex problems Share your knowledge and help drive engineering excellence across the team What we're looking for: Strong skills in Java development and familiarity with React or similar frameworks Experience in building technical solutions for complex business logic Experience in API design and/or service-oriented architecture Solid competence in working with relational databases Familiarity with AWS or similar environments An AI-first mindset and curiosity to explore how AI can improve both your workflow and the products you build Familiarity with product engineering methodologies Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment Courage to take responsibility, show initiative, and give constructive feedback Proficiency in Estonian language is a plus How we work: Hybrid, from our Tallinn office located at Ülemiste City. We expect you in 2–3 days a week - product decisions here happen fast and in person, and being in the room for them is part of the job. The rest is yours to arrange.
