Python Developer

We have an urgent requirement for a German speaking Python Developer / Technical Lead for a hybrid role in Bern. About the Role As a Python Developer / Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team in software development while ensuring high-quality standards and effective communication within the team. Responsibilities At least 8 years of professional experience in software development and as a Technical Lead Excellent knowledge of Python and modern Python frameworks, especially FastAPI Experience with FastStream and event-driven architectures Very good knowledge of microservices development and operations Solid experience with Apache Kafka Several years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift Very good knowledge of API management as well as REST API design and development Experience in creating and evaluating software architectures Technical leadership skills and role-model function within an agile development team without disciplinary responsibility Demonstrable experience conducting code reviews and establishing development standards Experience with Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and test automation Very good knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD processes Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly and establish them within the team Enjoys sharing knowledge and developing team members professionally Very good German and good English skills
