Python Developer

Buy Side firm is looking for a Python Engineer to work closely with quantitative researchers to design and build efficient and scalable workflows for data processing and retrieval. You will assume strong ownership of projects throughout their full production deployment life cycle and meaningfully contribute to the firm's overall data strategy. Job Requirements: Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and quantitative skills, and a high degree of self-direction BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field 3+ years of Python programming experience SQL experience (Microsoft SQL Server a plus) Ability to process and manipulate large volumes of data Complementary Skills Knowledge of finance with experience working with front office teams Experience with financial data sets AWS, EKS/Kubernetes, Kafka, and NoSQL experience
