Description

Front End Engineer II (Adobe Experience Platform) - 6 month contract (potential to hire) - Remote Optomi, in partnership with a non-profit healthcare provider, is seeking a Front End Engineer with strong Next.js experience to support the development of modern digital healthcare and marketing applications. This engineer will play a key role in building responsive, user-facing experiences while integrating with APIs, AI-driven services, and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to enable personalized patient engagement. What the Right Professional Will Enjoy: • The opportunity to build impactful digital experiences in the healthcare space • Working with modern front-end technologies and AI-driven integrations • A highly collaborative environment with product, engineering, and architecture teams • The opportunity to work fully remote (Eastern time zone hours) Experience of the right candidate: • 3–6 years of professional software development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Platform is a must have • Experience building modern UI components with Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks • Experience integrating and consuming APIs (REST, authN/authZ such as OAuth/JWT) • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred) or AWS • Basic SQL knowledge (queries, joins, troubleshooting data issues) Technical Environment: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Azure, APIs, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), AI/LLM integrations We will be putting a high emphasis on: • Building scalable, high-performance front-end applications using Next.js • Supporting marketing and personalization use cases through AEP integrations • Rapid prototyping and evolving features into production-quality solutions • Owning full feature development from concept through deployment and support
