Job Purpose and Objective ADSS is a successful retail and institutional brokerage based in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Associate, DevOps Engineering plays an essential role in supporting ADSS’s transformation into a fast‑growing, purpose‑led, data‑driven enterprise. This role focuses on designing, improving, and maintaining DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable environments across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms. The position ensures that ADSS’s systems are built, deployed, monitored, and maintained using robust automation, reliable processes, and modern engineering standards. The role contributes significantly to the efficiency, stability, and resilience of ADSS’s trading and enterprise systems by accelerating delivery, reducing operational risk, and improving release quality. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities CI/CD, Automation & Deployment Engineering Support the deployment, optimization, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable, repeatable, and automated build and release processes. Implement automation across application deployment, configuration, monitoring, scaling, and infrastructure provisioning. Maintain infrastructure‑as‑code practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies. Assist in maintaining containerized environments using Docker or Kubernetes. Environment & Platform Operations Support provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of DevOps environments across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid platforms. Monitor system and application performance, proactively identify issues, and troubleshoot DevOps‑related incidents. Collaborate with SRE, Infrastructure, Network, and Application teams to ensure environments are consistent, secure, and operationally stable. Reliability, Monitoring & Incident Response Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system visibility and uptime. Participate in on‑call or escalation rotations to support production deployments and resolve operational issues swiftly. Conduct root‑cause analysis for environment or deployment failures and implement long‑term preventive measures. Collaboration & Cross‑Team Enablement Work closely with developers, QA teams, and system engineers to streamline delivery processes and remove deployment blockers. Improve handovers, release preparation, and coordination with application development and database engineering teams. Promote DevOps best practices across the engineering organization by supporting peer training and documentation. Governance, Documentation & Compliance Maintain clear documentation for CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, infrastructure configurations, and environment setups. Adhere to change‑management, release‑management, and version‑control best practices. Ensure compliance with internal security standards, regulatory requirements, and the ADSS governance framework. Risk Management Identify risks related to deployment, infrastructure automation, and operational stability. Implement engineering controls and escalate concerns to management as required. Support remediation of vulnerabilities and environment‑related risks. 4. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in AWS, Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, or automation tools are an advantage. Experience 3–5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, environment management, automation, or SRE‑related roles. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and containerized environments. Experience working in hybrid and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP preferred). Exposure to agile delivery methods and cross‑functional engineering collaboration. Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Proficiency with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python). Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration.
