Job Title: Lead Frontend Developer (ReactJS) Location: Pune, Maharashtra Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Lead Frontend Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of large-scale enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture, with proven experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and building scalable, high-performance user interfaces. Roles & Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend features across modules and applications. Define and drive frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices. Build and maintain scalable, reusable component libraries and shared packages within an Nx monorepo. Integrate multiple backend services, ensuring robust authentication, authorization, and error-handling mechanisms. Optimize application performance for dashboards, large datasets, reporting platforms, and interactive UI experiences. Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, QA, and Design teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Establish testing strategies and improve code quality using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Cypress. Mentor developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Drive modernization initiatives while balancing business priorities and delivery timelines. Skills & Experience Required 10+ years of software development experience with at least 6+ years of hands-on React.js development. Strong expertise in React (Hooks, Context API, Component Patterns) and TypeScript. Experience building large-scale enterprise SPAs with authentication, RBAC, and multi-tenant architectures. Hands-on experience with React 19, Vite, Ant Design, Less, and Styled Components/Emotion. Strong experience with Nx Monorepo, shared component libraries, and modular frontend architecture. Expertise in API integrations using Axios and multi-service frontend environments. Experience with frontend performance optimization, code splitting, caching, and rendering strategies. Strong understanding of testing frameworks including Vitest, React Testing Library, and Cypress. Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills. Why Optimus?
