Java Developer – Low Latency / Financial Services

📍 Location: 1633 Broadway, New York (candidates from New Jersey & Newark can apply) 💼 Employment Type: Full time- W2 (Total base + benefits) 🕒 Experience: 2 to 5 Years 🛂 Visa Status: [US Citizen / Green Card / H1B] We are looking for a Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java development and a passion for building high-performance, low-latency applications . 🔹 Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications. Build applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security . Work with SQL databases and perform database performance tuning . Develop robust unit and integration tests following TDD practices. Design and optimize multi-threaded and concurrent applications . Troubleshoot performance issues and contribute to system optimization. Apply OOP, design patterns, and sound architectural principles . Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. 🔹 Must-Have Skills ✅ Strong hands-on Java development experience ✅ Spring Framework – Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security ✅ Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills ✅ TDD , unit testing & integration testing ✅ Multi-threading, concurrency & low-latency systems ✅ Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns & architecture ✅ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills ✅ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ⭐ Preferred Skills Experience in Investment Banking / Financial Services Knowledge of FIX Protocol , trading platforms, or risk management systems Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ Performance profiling and optimization tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
