Full-Stack Software Engineer About the Company We’re an early-stage, venture-backed technology company building an AI-powered workspace for video editing—bringing the speed, intelligence, and intuitive workflows of modern AI coding tools to video production. Our platform rapidly ingests and indexes footage, enabling creators and professional production teams to search, preview, organize, and edit video through a responsive interface and conversational AI. The product also integrates with established editing software while providing access to leading AI models. As we prepare to expand the platform to a broader market, we’re looking for an exceptional engineer to deepen our integrations, develop new capabilities, and help shape the future of video production. What You’ll Do You’ll work across the product and infrastructure, contributing to areas such as: Building high-performance React applications that render and manage large volumes of media and metadata Developing asynchronous AI inference pipelines that improve the platform’s understanding of video footage Advancing an AI editing agent that can search, organize, and edit footage on a user’s behalf Building deeper integrations with professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve Designing and improving PostgreSQL-backed systems with real-time synchronization Solving complex challenges involving simultaneous video playback, large datasets, rendering performance, and customer data privacy Speaking directly with users to understand their workflows and turn feedback into product improvements Your work will draw on disciplines including system design, computer graphics, information retrieval, computer vision, natural language processing, high-performance web development, and filmmaking. Tech Stack Next.js and React Vercel Tailwind CSS PostgreSQL with real-time synchronization Serverless GPU workers for media processing and AI analysis Python, Docker, and CUDA Figma What We’re Looking For 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong React and full-stack web development skills A demonstrated ability to build responsive, performance-intensive web applications Excellent understanding of web infrastructure, including HTTPS, CORS, CDNs, caching, and deployment Strong product judgment and empathy for what users care about, including search quality, playback reliability, editing quality, and speed The ability to learn independently, take ownership, and move quickly without compromising quality Clear communication, particularly around priorities, timelines, risks, and technical tradeoffs A disciplined approach to prioritization and a willingness to focus on the highest-impact work Enthusiasm for working directly with users and delivering a high level of service How You Work You thrive in an ambitious, fast-moving environment.
