The Role The Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer will sit between engineering and customer delivery, taking full ownership of the integration layer that powers the platform. You will design and build integrations with a range of property management and CRM systems, join customer calls to gather requirements, and translate those into robust technical solutions. Working closely with the platform engineering and product teams, you will also contribute to the ongoing development and scaling of existing systems. The Company This is a well-funded, early-stage proptech startup based in New York. The business delivers an AI-powered, self-service leasing platform that helps property owners and operators modernise how prospective renters discover and engage with properties. The team moves fast, operates with a high degree of autonomy, and gives engineers genuine scope to shape the product from the ground up. The role is hybrid remote, with 3 days per week from their New York offices. What experience does the Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer need? Solid backend engineering background using Python and FastAPI, with demonstrable experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations Prior experience working directly with customers on technical scoping or integration projects Startup experience in a small, high-ownership environment, where hands-on delivery was the norm Exposure to property management systems is a plus, as is familiarity with agentic AI workflows or LLM tooling So What's Next?
