Job Title: Java Developer Experience: 4–10 Years Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview At Atos, we are looking for a skilled and innovative Java Developer with strong expertise in React.js , API Development & Integration , and exposure to AI-powered development tools and solutions . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications while leveraging modern AI technologies to enhance development efficiency and business outcomes. The candidate should possess strong backend development expertise using Java technologies, hands-on experience building modern front-end applications with React, and the ability to integrate enterprise systems through secure and scalable APIs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java , Spring Boot , and React.js . Develop robust RESTful APIs , Microservices, and system integrations. Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions. Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and modern front-end frameworks. Integrate AI services and intelligent automation features into enterprise applications. Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot , Microsoft Copilot , and Generative AI platforms to improve productivity and code quality. Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and maintainability. Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development and production environments. Required Technical Skills Backend Development Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+ Expertise in Spring Boot , Spring MVC, Spring Security Microservices architecture and distributed systems Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles Frontend Development Strong experience with React.js JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Material UI State management libraries (Redux, Context API) API & Integration Strong hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs API Security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect) Experience with API gateways and integration frameworks Knowledge of JSON, XML, and third-party integrations Database & Cloud SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB Azure, AWS, or GCP exposure Docker and Kubernetes knowledge preferred AI & Emerging Technology Exposure Experience using Microsoft Copilot , GitHub Copilot , ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted development platforms. Understanding of Generative AI , Prompt Engineering, and AI-based automation. Exposure to integrating AI services such as Azure OpenAI , Azure AI Services, or other AI APIs. Interest in leveraging AI tools to accelerate software development, testing, and documentation activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions. Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
