About the Role We are seeking a Software Engineer focused on innovative voice technology solutions for the automotive industry. The role emphasizes backend Python engineering, system design, and scalable systems. You will help build solutions that improve how people interact with dealerships for purchasing and servicing, with opportunities to apply AI tools to real-world challenges. What You Will Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python Architect efficient solutions integrating various technologies, including LLMs and NLP Implement and optimize speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems Lead system design and architecture discussions Apply best practices in testing, CI/CD, and code quality Mentor team members Stay current with relevant AI/ML advancements What We Want You to Have 3+ years professional backend Python development Experience in system design and scalable architecture Experience with API integrations Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using Docker Proficiency with data and databases Strong software engineering fundamentals (testing, code reviews, CI/CD) Ability to mentor and inspire team members Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Haves Hands-on experience with STT/TTS systems Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks Exposure to LLM APIs or RAG systems Why Join Equity via stock options Fully paid health, vision & dental Flexible PTO and hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office) Free lunches, parking stipend, team events, and a results-oriented culture Compensation Competitive with market rates, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
