Description

My client is an early-stage AI startup building the AI-powered front desk for UK letting and estate agents live and already generating revenue with agencies across the country. Their product answers calls, emails, and messages 24/7, qualifies leads, books viewings, and handles the vast majority of that work autonomously. They're now hiring a GTM Engineer : a highly technical builder who takes functions that traditionally run on manual work, starting with sales and marketing, and builds the systems that run them instead. This is an engineering seat pointed at go-to-market, not a pre-sales or solutions role. You won't be running demos or writing integration docs, you'll be building the automations, agents, and tooling the commercial team relies on every day. What you'll be doing: Automating sourcing, enrichment, deduplication, and lead scoring, so sales works a prioritised list instead of a spreadsheet Building the admin infrastructure around selling: pre-call briefs, CRM hygiene, follow-ups, pipeline reporting Owning inbound capture end to end form to enrichment to routing to first response, measured in minutes Building reporting the leadership team trusts, so channel decisions run on real numbers Extending the same systems-thinking approach into wider parts of the business as you go What my client is looking for: Real production coding experience (Python, TypeScript, or similar) comfortable with APIs, data, and querying a database yourself 2–5 years' experience, from any background (engineering, technical product, data, consulting, startup, or your own projects) A strong technical degree (engineering, maths, computer science, physics, or similar) from a leading Russell Group university or international equivalent Genuine, evidenced experience building with LLMs beyond a prompt agents, tool use, retrieval, evaluation, or unattended workflows Commercial instinct you know a funnel, and can tell a metric moving from a metric mattering A bias to shipping fast, then hardening what earns its place Also great to have: Background as a technical product manager, forward-deployed/solutions engineer, in growth engineering or revenue operations, or as a technical founder Experience with modern GTM tooling (Clay, Apollo, CRM automation) or building on the Claude API, agent frameworks, or MCP B2B SaaS experience selling to SMEs or non-technical, time-poor buyers property experience is a bonus This is a genuine build-from-scratch opportunity, working directly with the founders on a small team where your impact is visible week to week.
