Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Python Developer role based in Location, WV. The Python Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services using Python and related frameworks. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, integrating third-party APIs, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting issues in existing systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural and design decisions. The Python Developer will also help improve development processes, ensure adherence to best practices, and support deployment and maintenance activities. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Python programming, including experience with core libraries and object-oriented design. Hands-on experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI for building RESTful services and web applications. Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and ORM tools. Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, and code review processes. Understanding of APIs, microservices, and integration with external systems and cloud-based services. Ability to analyze requirements, perform technical research, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with Agile or similar methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage. Prior experience in software product development or IT consulting environments is preferred.
