AI Developer / Permanent / Sydney / $160,000 + super About The Company Our client is a leading Australian educational institution. They're investing heavily in AI, automation and digital platforms to boost efficiency and customer experience, with continued growth across the group. About The Role Reporting to the Head of Technology, you'll join a small cross-functional team working closely with the Business Analyst and business stakeholders. You'll deliver full-stack solutions across AI-enabled automation, internal tools and digital products, taking ideas from prototype through to production. Benefits Salary range $150,000 to $160,000 + super Flexible/hybrid working from Sydney Small, close-knit team with genuine autonomy over how you work Hands-on exposure to AI tooling and LLM-powered features, not just theory Variety across the full stack, front end, back end and data Real influence over technical direction and delivery approach Duties / Key Responsibilities Deliver full-stack solutions from technical discovery and prototype through to production Build responsive front-end experiences using React and Next.js, and back-end services and APIs using Node.js Design and query SQL data stores, data models, API integrations and event-driven workflows Implement AI-enabled features using governed model and API services where they add clear business value Write maintainable, tested code and support sensible CI/CD and deployment practices Skills and Experience 5+ years' commercial full-stack development experience Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js skills Experience with SQL, relational data modelling, APIs and third-party integrations Comfortable in a small team with changing priorities and multiple stakeholders Git, automated testing, CI/CD and secure development practices AWS desirable; Databricks and Cloudflare highly regarded LLM API or AI workflow exposure advantageous Portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating full-stack capability strongly preferred If you're interested in this opportunity and feel you're the right fit, please click "Apply" About Allura Partners Allura Partners was founded to support private equity firms by placing C-Suites to lead, transform, and scale portfolio companies.
