🚨 Hiring: Principal Engineer / Engineer 5 – Python / Platform Engineering 📍 Location: Irving, TX 💼 Type: W2 🏢 Work Model: Hybrid / On-site as required Looking for a Principal Engineer / Engineer 5 to join a high-impact platform engineering team at Wells Fargo. We are specifically looking for a software-development-focused engineer , not a primarily DevOps/SRE-focused profile. 🔑 Key Requirements • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong Python development experience • Strong experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask • Experience building web applications and APIs • 8+ years of CI/CD and DevOps automation • Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions , reusable workflows, and workflow templates • OpenShift / Kubernetes experience • Harness CD or equivalent deployment automation • DevSecOps and security/compliance automation • Terraform / Ansible / GitOps • Experience building reusable libraries, platforms, templates, and golden-path repositories • Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot ⭐ Highly Preferred • Open-source contributions • Conda-Forge contributions • Pixi Package Manager experience/contributions • Python packaging and Pytest • Enterprise-scale Django platforms • Wagtail / Wagtail CRX • ArgoCD and policy-as-code • SRE, observability, and DORA metrics If you are a Principal/Staff/Lead Software Engineer with strong Python development experience and have transitioned into platform engineering, this could be an excellent opportunity. 📩 Interested?
