Python Backend Engineer

Location: Pan India Experience: 5–7 Years About The Role We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python, REST APIs, and microservices architecture . The role focuses on building scalable, secure, highly available, and production-grade backend systems using modern frameworks and cloud technologies. Job Description The role involves designing and developing enterprise backend applications using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask. You will build REST APIs and microservices while ensuring application scalability, security, availability, and performance. You will work with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, query optimization, and backend performance tuning. The position also involves cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD, event-driven systems, testing, code reviews, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend applications using Python Build scalable REST APIs and microservices Develop enterprise applications using FastAPI, Django, or Flask Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization Design secure, highly available, and event-driven backend systems Deploy and manage applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes Support CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices Perform testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Required Skills Python REST API development Microservices architecture FastAPI, Django, or Flask SQL and NoSQL databases Data modeling and query optimization Backend performance tuning AWS, Azure, or GCP Docker and Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines Event-driven backend systems Software testing and code reviews DevOps principles Mandatory Skills Python Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of experience in Python backend development , with strong expertise in REST APIs, microservices, databases, and backend performance optimization.
