Senior DevOps/Platform Engineers

We are seeking experienced Senior DevOps/Platform Engineers to join our client's Platform Operations & Engineering Team, implementing modernization initiatives for store Point of Sale (POS) systems across edge locations. Responsibilities Execute infrastructure enhancements across edge locations using Oracle Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s/K3s), Helm, Kustomize, and Ansible Deploy and maintain containerized applications in distributed edge computing environments Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and ensure high availability of POS systems Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD Implement automated testing, security scanning, and deployment processes Manage GitOps workflows and optimize deployment efficiency Deploy and configure FluentBit, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana Implement comprehensive logging, metrics collection, and distributed tracing Create dashboards, alerts, and support incident response activities Develop platform tools, scripts, and automation to support development teams Work with Systems Architect to translate designs into working solutions Collaborate with development teams and participate in agile ceremonies Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux administration (Oracle Linux preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and GitOps practices Hands-on experience with observability tools: FluentBit, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana Proficiency with Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, and infrastructure as code Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python with automation experience Understanding of edge computing and distributed infrastructure challenges Experience with monitoring strategies for distributed systems Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps environments, secrets management, and secure configuration practices Retail/POS environment experience highly preferred Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and service mesh technologies Understanding of high-availability and disaster recovery principles Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring abilities within cross-functional agile teams English proficiency at B2 level or higher We offer We connect like-minded people: Delivering innovative solutions to industry leaders, making a global impact Enjoyable working environment, whether it is the vibrant office or the comfort of your own home Opportunity to work abroad for up to two months per year Relocation opportunities within our offices in 55+ countries Corporate and social events We invest in your growth: Leadership development, career advising, soft skills and well-being programs Certifications, including GCP, Azure and AWS Unlimited access to EPAM's internal learning database Free English classes with certified teachers We cover it all: Monetary bonuses for engaging in the referral program Medical & family care package Six trust days per year (sick leave without a medical certificate) Coverage of psychology sessions of your choice Discounts for fitness clubs and sports programs Benefits package (sports activities, a variety of stores and services) Experience the freedom of remote work from anywhere in Kyrgyzstan, whether it's the comfort of your home or our modern office in Bishkek.
