React Developer

Cape Town role Are you a passionate Front-End Engineer with React expertise and a drive to build world-class user experiences? We're looking for a React Front-End Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and scaling modern web applications. You'll work alongside product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create high-performance, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces that serve a large-scale digital platform. What You'll Do Design and deliver scalable, user-facing features from concept through production. Collaborate closely with API and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Drive quality through testing standards, CI/CD improvements, observability, and debugging practices. Optimise application performance, including rendering efficiency, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals. What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience 3+ years of professional front-end development experience 3+ years of hands-on React development experience Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript Good understanding of React internals and modern React patterns Experience with state management solutions and front-end architecture CSS and responsive design skills Experience integrating REST APIs and modern web services Testing experience (Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent) Additional Requirements Analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration abilities Excellent written and verbal English communication Why Join Us?
