What you will do: Build and extend the services, systems, and algorithms that power our delivery platform Add new features to many of our web apps and build new web apps using existing apis or work with the backend team to design new apis Build frontend components to reuse for many applications Contribute to the current frontend/backend structure to improve to build applications Development of real-time processing systems (websocket/streaming events) What you need: 1. Knowledge and experience Minimum 6 Years with ReactJs Strong proficiency in front-end web applications development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 or supersets like TypeScript) Strong experience with state management like: redux/recoil/mobx.... Strong experience developing and integrating with APIs Experience planning and writing unit, functional, and integration tests 2. Soft skills Ability to explore new technologies and resolve technical challenges Written English is a must to communicate with US Ability to easily dive into code written in unfamiliar languages Ability to manage multiple/competing priorities and make the right tradeoffs and timely delivery of features Ability to partner with product management to determine feasibility and generate technical requirements Great communication and documentation skills Great attention to details A commitment to learning and continuous self-improvement Nice to have: Experience working with geospatial data and location-based services Experience with e-commerce, logistics, and logistics algorithms (e.g. capacitated VRP) Good spoken English is preferable The Opportunity: Become a key part of the core global team developing applications that provide control over and visibility into all of Jitsu’s systems and day-to-day operations Build real-time applications supporting thousands of drivers and connecting them with the Jitsu team Why Jitsu: Attractive salary and benefits 24 remote working days per year 17 days of paid leave per year, including annual leave and sick leave MacBook Pro, an additional monitor, and other necessary work equipment Plenty of team engagement activities, including team lunches, monthly birthday celebrations, and more
