Senior Frontend Engineer

CORE PROFILE A Fullstack Engineer, specializing in Web FE, who designs, builds, tests, and maintains scalable, secure, and user-friendly web applications. The role requires strong proficiency in software design principles, front-end architecture, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, modern web application patterns, and web technologies such as ReactJS and HTMX, together with cloud-native development practices. NATURE OF WORK In this role, you will be a key contributor to our product architecture, responsible for building highly scalable, maintainable, and performant web capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to translate business requirements into technical reality. Key Responsibilities & Objectives: Architecture & Development: Design and build reusable, testable web features, internal platforms, and SDKs utilizing both component-driven and server-driven UI patterns. Integration: Connect front-end applications with backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with backend and service engineering teams to ensure ease of deployment, scalability, and seamless user experiences. Quality & Operational Excellence: Take shared ownership of code quality by writing automated tests, conducting code reviews, actively participating in CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting production issues to minimize platform defects. AI-Augmented Engineering: Responsibly leverage and govern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, and research while ensuring output correctness, security, and compliance. Continuous Improvement: Research and apply new technologies, architectures (like Micro Frontends), and engineering practices to drive development speed and platform reliability. You will be working with: Core Languages: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 Front-End Frameworks: ReactJS (including Hooks and custom hooks), HTMX, Next.js State Management: Redux, React Query, Zustand, Context API Backend & Integration: Node.js, RESTful web services, GraphQL Testing: Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library Build & Version Control: Git (GitLab), Webpack, npm/Yarn, Turborepo (Monorepo architecture) CI/CD & DevOps: GitLab CI/CD, Linux command line Cloud (AWS): S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or Databricks Concepts & Architectures: Micro Frontends (MFE), Server-Driven UI, Progressive Enhancement, Responsive Design, Accessibility Additional/Bonus Tech: AI-assisted development tools, JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Groovy), UX Design principles Required Skills and Experiences: 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS . Strong understanding of frontend architecture, API integration, state management, and responsive design . Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud platforms (AWS) . Proven ability to independently deliver high-quality solutions, perform code reviews, and support production systems. Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills in cross-functional Agile teams.
