Senior Python Engineer

We are seeking a versatile and skilled Python Engineer to join our dynamic team, working across innovative AI, automation, and data-intensive platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex backend systems, building robust APIs and tools, and integrating cloud and AI technologies. Our projects range from AI-powered drug discovery platforms to inventory management tools and test automation systems, so flexibility and problem-solving ability are key. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable and maintainable backend systems using Python. Build and optimize RESTful APIs, CLI tools, and automation scripts. Develop and integrate AI/LLM-powered modules (e.g., RAG, prompt engineering, Agentic AI). Work with cloud environments (primarily GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker). Process structured and unstructured data using modern frameworks and vector databases. Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to ensure code quality and rapid delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, product managers, and data scientists. Contribute to architecture decisions, technical leadership, and mentoring within mid-sized agile teams. Requirements Proven experience in backend development with Python. Good level of English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate within a global team. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP / AWS/ Azure). Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD tools, and automated deployment workflows. Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, Redis, and other relational or NoSQL databases. Experience in developing CLI tools, automation scripts, or test automation infrastructure. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex. Ability to work with YAML/JSON configurations and integrate with external APIs and SDKs. Strong communication skills and ability to work in English-speaking teams. Nice to have Experience in Agentic AI systems, RAG architectures, and vector databases. Knowledge of Kotlin/Java or willingness to work across JVM-based stacks. Background in healthcare, regulated industries, or QA automation. Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or other E2E test automation tools. Experience with Bash scripting, Kafka, SQLAlchemy, and data pipeline tools. Prior work on platforms in logistics, healthcare, or e-commerce sectors.
