Skills And Requirements Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, including designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Linux-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools). Strong hands-on experience with at least 4–5 of the following technologies: Linux Server Administration (Ubuntu, Debian) Docker Kubernetes (K8s, AKS, EKS, GKE) NGINX / Apache Web Server Load Balancers (HAProxy, NGINX, Cloud Load Balancers) PostgreSQL / MySQL / MariaDB Redis / RabbitMQ Strong Linux Administration Skills, Including User and permission management Package management System services (systemd) Filesystem and storage management Networking and firewall configuration (iptables, firewall, UFW) Performance monitoring and troubleshooting Experience deploying and managing Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, or containerized applications on Linux servers. Good understanding of Git-based version control and branching strategies. Roles And Responsiblities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Provision, configure, and manage Linux infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on Linux servers and Kubernetes clusters. Administer Linux servers, including installation, upgrades, security hardening, patch management, and performance tuning. Build and maintain Docker images, container registries, and Kubernetes workloads. Configure and manage web servers, reverse proxies, SSL certificates, DNS, and load balancers. Collaborate with development teams to automate application deployment and resolve infrastructure-related issues. Monitor infrastructure, applications, and Kubernetes environments using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Nagios or similar monitoring tools. Perform troubleshooting, incident management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and auto-scaling strategies for applications and databases. Configure and manage networking, firewall rules, VPNs, access control, and security policies. Ensure infrastructure complies with organizational security, governance, and compliance standards. Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Participate in on-call support, production deployments, and release management activities when required.
