Applications Developer (Web & Mobile)

Applications Developer (Web & Mobile) Hybrid | Glasgow | Permanent We're working with a well-established UK organisation that's investing heavily in its digital platforms and looking for a Digital Application Developer to join the team. You'll help build and improve customer-facing web and mobile applications, working across the full development lifecycle alongside Product, Design, Data and Engineering teams. What you'll be doing Building and enhancing web and mobile apps (iOS & Android) Developing APIs and integrations with business systems Creating secure, scalable, user-friendly digital solutions Supporting CI/CD, testing, monitoring and performance improvements Working in Agile teams to deliver new features and enhancements Exploring opportunities to leverage AI and automation What we're looking for Strong commercial experience in software development Hands-on with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin Experience building and consuming APIs Knowledge of secure development practices and modern architecture Familiar with CI/CD, testing and Agile delivery environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills Nice to have Experience in financial services or other regulated sectors React Native, Flutter or Azure exposure Mobile authentication, biometrics or digital identity experience Interest in AI-enabled products and emerging technologies What's on offer Competitive salary and bonus Excellent pension contribution Private healthcare Flexible holiday options Hybrid working Training and professional development support A collaborative, supportive culture with plenty of opportunities to grow If you're passionate about building modern digital experiences and enjoy working across web, mobile and cloud technologies, we'd love to hear from you.
