Role Description Job Role :- GenAI Engineer Job Locationv:- Jersey City, NJ Job Description:- We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable backend services automation utilities and data processing components The ideal candidate should have strong command over Python programming API development microservices asynchronous execution and integration with databases and cloud environments You will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality secure and efficient software solutions Key Responsibilities Backend Development Design develop and maintain robust backend applications and microservices using Python Build RESTful APIs using FastAPI Write reusable scalable and optimized code following best practices Integrate services with third party APIs and internal systems Data Handling Processing Develop data ingestion transformation and processing workflows Work with structured and unstructured data using Python libraries Pandas NumPy etc Optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability Automation Scripting Build Python scripts for DevOps automation monitoring tasks and internal tool development Develop utilities to support CICD cloud deployment and environment management Testing Quality Write unit integration and API tests using pytest Use Beartype for runtime type validation and quality assurance Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards Troubleshoot and debug code across development QA and production environments Core Technical Skills Core Python Strong proficiency in Python 3x OOP asynchronous programming asyncio asyncawait Solid understanding of decorators generators multiprocessing and concurrency API Development Hands on experience building production grade service endpoints using FastAPI Knowledge of API authenticationauthorization OAuth2 JWT Data Validation Schema Enforcement Proficiency with Pydantic for structured output validation and schema enforcement Dependency Environment Management Experience with uv or poetry for efficient environment and dependency setup Databases Storage Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases Knowledge of pgvector for embedding storage and retrieval Ability to write optimized SQL queries Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Clear communication and collaboration across teams Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables Attention to detail and commitment to software quality Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
