This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous venture-backed cybersecurity startup building AI-powered tools to reduce human risk inside large enterprises. We’re identifying a small number of exceptional product engineers from our network. If there’s a strong fit, we’ll introduce you directly to the team. Location: San Francisco, CA Compensation: $175k–$210k base + competitive equity Employment type: Full-time Work setup: Hybrid, 3+ days in-office Tuesday–Thursday Visa: Open to visa transfers, including H-1B and OPT transfers About the company This company is building an AI-powered human risk platform that helps enterprises understand risky employee behavior and automatically deliver targeted security interventions. Backed by leading venture firms and founded by experienced cybersecurity operators, the company has raised $31M and grown to roughly 55 employees. The team includes engineers from companies such as Meta, Twitter, and Flexport. About the role As a Product Engineer with a frontend focus, you’ll own customer-facing features across the stack, with most of your work centered on React and modern frontend development. You’ll work closely with product and engineering to take features from concept to production, while helping shape how users interact with products spanning security training, video experiences, and real-time workplace notifications. What You’ll Do Build high-quality customer-facing products using React, Next.js, and TypeScript Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend logic, and data models Improve frontend-to-backend integrations and evolve GraphQL schemas Work directly from customer problems and feedback to guide product decisions Help raise the frontend engineering bar through code reviews and mentorship Ship production-ready features quickly in a highly autonomous environment Outcomes Deliver products that create measurable impact for enterprise customers Take ownership of complex features from initial idea through production Improve the quality and performance of customer-facing experiences Help the team make better product decisions through strong engineering judgment Strengthen frontend engineering practices as the company scales Build systems that balance speed, maintainability, and customer needs Why This Role Is Compelling Join a fast-growing cybersecurity company backed by top-tier investors Work on a large and increasingly important enterprise security problem Build products used directly by enterprise customers and their employees Have meaningful ownership while the core product is still being shaped Work alongside a technically strong team with startup and scale-up experience Influence both engineering decisions and product direction The Ideal Candidate 3–5 years of experience as a product-oriented software engineer Strong hands-on React experience building complex customer-facing products Startup or scale-up experience with significant end-to-end feature ownership Comfortable working across frontend and backend, including GraphQL integrations Strong product intuition and ability to connect engineering work to customer impact Able to work in-person in San Francisco at least 3 days per week Next steps Apply via this LinkedIn job post We’ll review and reach out if there’s a strong match If aligned, we’ll introduce you directly to the team If this role isn’t the right fit, we may suggest and make introductions to other high-signal startup roles we’re recruiting for, always with your permission.
