Description

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Client: Florida Department of Health Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the testing and quality assurance of enterprise applications within an Agile software development environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating new and existing applications through manual and automated testing, ensuring software quality, performance, security, and compliance throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role requires close collaboration with developers, business users, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications. Review business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive testing strategies and ensure application quality. Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, load, and scalability testing. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Maven, and related automation frameworks. Configure, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Perform load and performance testing using JMeter and analyze test results. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution while working closely with development teams. Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to validate production deployments. Maintain test documentation, defect logs, test plans, change requests, and quality metrics. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the Agile development lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies. Support troubleshooting activities and assist with root cause analysis for production issues. Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Assist with data validation, system integration efforts, and software quality improvements across enterprise applications. Provide occasional after-hours support for production releases and critical application issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within an Agile software development environment. Minimum 5 years of experience using Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), or Team Foundation Server (TFS). Minimum 5 years of experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Minimum 5 years of experience with DevSecOps practices and automated testing. Minimum 3 years of experience supporting healthcare applications. Experience developing and executing automated tests using Selenium and Cucumber. Experience with Maven repositories and IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse IDE. Experience performing load and performance testing using JMeter. Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile principles. Experience documenting test plans, test cases, defects, and quality metrics. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications DevOps Foundation Certification (or higher). Experience with SoapUI, Selenium Suite, HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), LoadRunner, or HP Performance Center. Experience supporting enterprise healthcare or public sector applications. Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and modern software testing best practices.
