About the Role We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Enginee r to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, cloud security, monitoring, and deployment automatio n. You will work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve application delivery, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency Key Responsibilities Design, manage, and maintain development, testing, staging, and production environment s Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipeline s and deployment automation Automate application build, deployment, configuration, and release processe s Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and associated service s Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC ) practices Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational processe s Support application availability, scalability, reliability, and performanc e Implement cloud security, access control, networking, and environment managemen t best practices Establish and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recover y processes Support application releases and production deployment s Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, and environment-related issue s Identify and implement opportunities for infrastructure optimization, automation, and operational efficienc y Collaborate with development and engineering teams to establish and improve DevOps practices and standard s Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure, deployment, security, and operational processes Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience 5+ years of relevant experienc e in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or a related field Strong hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platfor m Strong experience in CI/CD and deployment automatio n Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC ) Experience with containerization technologie s Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and loggin g Experience supporting enterprise web application s in development and production environments Strong understanding of Git-based development, branching, and release processe s Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with development, QA, security, and operations teams Desirable Skills & Experience Hands-on experience wit h Docker and Kubernet es Experience wit h Terrafo rm or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools Strong knowledge of AWS services acros s compute, storage, networking, security, and monitori ng Experience implementin g automated security and vulnerability scanni ng within CI/CD pipelines Experience wit h cloud cost optimizati on and resource management Experience establishing and implementin g DevOps practices for new applicatio n Experience with automation and scripting using technologies such a s Python, Bash, or PowerShe ll Familiarity with modern observability and centralized logging solution Equal Opportunity State Surge Technology Solutions Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
